A meal in one (sauerkraut, meat & potatoess

1medium can sauerkraut
approximately 4-5 good sized potatoes
2 loops smoked sasuage broken into 3-4 inches
1lrg onion sliced into rings
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper

  1. slice potatoes about 1/4 rounds and place in bottom of pot.
     
  2. place kraut on top of kraut,then add onion rings along with salt & pepper. Add 2 cups water.
     
  3. place smoked sasuage over top And simmer with lid on for about two hours.
     
  4. If you prefer, you may place in pressure cooker and pressure for 15 minutes after the pressure comes up to a jiggle.
     

Prep Time: 25-30 minutes
